Meeting: Elmwood Village

July 10 @ 5:30 pm - 8:15 pm

The Elmwood Village Association (EVA) will host a public meeting on the Buffalo Green Code.  Area residents, business owners, and property owners are encouraged to attend to learn about the differences between the City of Buffalo’s current zoning code, including the Elmwood Village Design Standards, and the Green Code and to hear the organization’s positions on key topics. Representatives of the City of Buffalo Office of Strategic Planning along with Elmwood Village Association board members and staff will be present to answer questions and receive feedback.

Because of space considerations, two presentations will be held, each to be followed by a 45-minute discussion period in which participants will be able to give feedback directly to EVA and City Hall staff. The meeting schedule is as follows:

  • 5:30 – 6:00 PM…………. Presentation
  • 6:00 – 6:45 PM…………. Moderated breakout discussions
  • 7:00 – 7:30 PM…………. Presentation
  • 7:30 – 8:15 PM…………. Moderated breakout discussions

The meetings will be held in coordination with the Buffalo State Small Business Development Center in the Butler Library, Room 210 at Buffalo State College, 1300 Elmwood Avenue, Buffalo NY 14222. Parking restrictions in all Student, Staff, and Faculty lots have been waived from 5-9 PM that evening.
